About Me

Hi, I'm Rodrigo! 👋🏽

I'm a design leader who believes great products come from curiosity, collaboration, and a little bit of playful chaos. Over the years, I've worked across corporate in-house teams and nimble consultancies, building consumer products and experiences that bring joy to people's lives.

Currently, I lead design at BARK, where I oversee toy portfolios that reach millions of subscribers each year and mentor a talented team of designers. My work spans product strategy, innovation, manufacturing, and team leadership, helping turn ambitious ideas into products that delight customers while driving business growth.

Before that, I worked across consultancies and global brands, learning how to navigate ambiguity, uncover opportunities, and turn messy problems into thoughtful, tangible solutions.

My approach is rooted in empathy, storytelling, and building environments where creativity doesn't just happen—it's encouraged, protected, and celebrated. I love developing designers, bringing people together around a shared vision, and creating the conditions for great ideas to thrive.

Whether I'm shaping the next generation of physical products, mentoring teams, or finding inspiration in everyday life, I aim to make design both purposeful and fun.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me sketching, tinkering with side projects, or chasing my dog around the park.
